Grand Opera House York opened on January 20th 1902 with Little Red Riding Hood starring Florrie Ford. It has a capacity of 1000 is now run by ATG (Ambassador Theatre Group) and has been designated a Grade II listed building. It hosts a range of live entertainment for all tastes including West End musicals, stand up comedians, live bands and family shows.
