St Martins Theatre, in the West End, is located near Shaftesbury Avenue. It was designed to be partnered to the Ambassadors Theatre. The stage opened with Houp La! an Edwardian style musical comedy and since then it has hosted very famous British actors. Basil Rathbone, Henry Daniell, Hugh Williams and John Mortimer to name but a few.
