A 17th century modern coaching inn. The Haughmond is located in the historic village of Upton Magna. We have an envious position in the heart of Shropshire, only a few short miles from the medieval market town of Shrewsbury and the World Heritage site of Ironbridge.
One of the reasons why we took this on as a project nearly seven years ago. We had a vision straightaway for what we wanted to accomplish here. We feel like we have regained the Haughmond’s place as the heart of not only the Village of Upton Magna, but also a destination to visit and stay from nearby medieval towns and further afield.
