We look forward to welcoming you to Swallows Cottage, situated in the small village of Harley close to Much Wenlock and surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire Hills. A place to relax, unwind and listen to the sounds of the countryside. Lovingly converted from an old stone cow byre, Swallows Cottage opened in 2016 and offers quality, comfortable self catering accommodation for your stay in this largely undiscovered area of England. Situated next door to our home, this 2 bedroom cottage offers space for 4 people, private parking for up to 2 cars together with a pretty outdoor seated area. The area is perfect for walking with paths leading you to breathtaking views across the hills or more gentle strolls by the River Severn. If history is your passion, the area offers Roman archaeology, castles, churches and plenty of National Trust and English Heritage sites to explore. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Ironbridge is a short drive away with its five museums together with the iconic bridge itself. There are many opportunities to try local produce in shops, markets, restaurants and pubs in Much Wenlock and nearby Shrewsbury.
