House of Agnes, 71 St Dunstans Street, Canterbury, CT2 8BN
The main house is Grade Two ‘Star’ listed, with some parts dating back to the 15th Century. Rooms in the main house are quite quirky with low beams, uneven floorboards, bowed walls and sometimes clunky plumbing (!). We are continually renovating and updating rooms, at the same time retaining the original character of this historical house and therein lies the charm of a stay in one our themed rooms.
The modern stable rooms have the benefit of being on the ground floor close to our spacious garden and steps from the main house where you will find comfy lounges, the very popular ‘honesty bar’ board games and free DVD library.
Breakfasts is served in the historic wood-panelled Quadrant room or on the terrace in fine weather.
