Berenjak is named after the handfuls of brightly coloured, toasted rice eaten as a snack at funfairs in Persia. The restaurant offers authentic home-style Persian cuisine, specialising in small mazeh style sharing plates, charcoal grilled kababs and a variety of slow cooked khoresht, using seasonal British produce.
Exposed brick walls hung with delicate artworks contrast with stained glass windows and the richly-hued, Persian-inspired mosaic lining the floor of the ‘Hayat’, with flickering candlelight casts a warm glow over the reclaimed marble and bronze tables.
