It has been announced today that Wicked has extended it’s run in the West end and is now booking until November 2020.
Based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire and featuring the characters from popular tale of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The show was adapted by Winnie Holzman for the stage and is directed by Joe Mantello.
Now in its 14th year, the musical is now the 9th longest running West End Musical of all time and during that time has been performed in London over 5500 times and has been awarded 100 major awards.

The popular musical has released announced over 500,000 new tickets for performances running from 25 May until 28th November at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre.
12 extra shows have also been put on sale including additional performances over the 2019 Christmas period:
• Monday 23rd December at 2.30pm
• Friday 27th December at 2.30pm
• Sunday 29th December at 2.30pm and 7.30pm
• Tuesday 31st December 2019 at 2.30pm
And several additional shows in 2020:
• Thursday 2nd January at 2.30pm
• Friday 3rd January at 2.30pm
• Thursday 20th February at 2.30pm
• Thursday 9th April at 2.30pm
• Thursday 13th August at 2.30pm
• Thursday 27th August at 2.30pm
• Thursday 29th October 2020 at 2.30pm
