The new West End musical production of Mary Poppins had it's official opening night this week on 13 November at the Prince Edward Theatre. The newly released official production photos of the show will make you want to go see the magic for yourself. 

Featuring music and lyrics by the Sherman Brothers, with additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, it is based on the much loved children's books by P. L. Travers and the 1964 Disney film of the same name. Julian Fellowes' book blends the original stories with the much loved film to create a new and iconic stage adventure. The musical tells the story of Mary Poppins, a nanny with magical powers who looks after Jane and Michael Banks. The musical includes the songs 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' and 'A Spoonful of Sugar'. Zizi Strallen will play the title role in the production and is joined by Charlie Stemp as Bert, who recently starred in Snow White at the London Palladium.
